XXIII World ORP Congress on Safety and Health at Work
XXIII World ORP Congress on Safety and Health at Work
"The evolution of OSH is destined to be an integral and integrating experience of the worker with the company and the surrounding macro system. Perhaps in this way we can move forward decisively in the pursuit of that common good which gives full meaning to the company and by extension to the Work, the Individual and the Planet explained Pedro R. Mondelo, Director of ORP, referring to the theme of the event; "at work: one life, one planet".
ORP 2023 coincides with a double celebration: the International Day for Safety and Health at the Workplace and the 30th anniversary of the Basque Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (OSALAN). The event itself will be a hybrid congress, including bilingual sessions of Vision Zero -Spanish and English- to facilitate attendance, whether physical or virtual, for the international community of specialists - occupational physicians and nurses, technicians, psychologists, engineers, ICT experts and journalists... - in the sector.
The strength of ORP
To state that ORP congresses are a worldwide reference is based on attendance statistics, quality of content and speakers, as well as the coverage of ORP's conferences and activities. For example, in August 2022 the ORP Congress 2022 convened 1,416 attendees on-site at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center and over 6,700 participants online. It featured 182 speakers from 38 countries who addressed a broad range of topics that currently concern risk prevention, such as innovation, digital transformation, measurement and interpretation of results, ethics and new work practices.
