We are glad to invite you to participate to the VI International Conference on Occupational Risk Prevention. It will be hold in
La Coruña, Spain, from May 14th to 16th, 2008.
ORP'2008 -like the previous, ORP'2006- is being organized by the Industrial Engineering Faculty (ETSEIB) of UPC (Technical University of Catalonia), in cooperation with Tampere University of Technology (Finland), Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands), Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems (University of Central Florida, the U.S.) and University of Milan (Italy). The co-organizer is the Presidency Ministry of the Autonomous Government of Galicia (Spain). ORP'2006 gathered more than 1,960 participants from 21 countries, and featured 100 stands from corporations working in the field of Prevention. On the scientific level, plenary conferences were realized by representatives from the E.U. and the U.S., and 44 invited lectures were given by scientists from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Poland and the U.S. 284 selected papers were presented about occupational prevention issues such as safety and prevention management, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, legal aspects, psychosociology, etc. We will be proud that you participate again in ORP, either by presenting papers, displaying stands, by motivating people around you to participate as well, or by any other means you may wish.
